A lot of people don’t realize, including myself, how important a good mattress is to your ability to sleep well, which ultimately affects your health and well-being.
Great stuff, lack of sleep can be helped through a good mattress.

  2. AJ says:

I agree with you about having a high quality mattress.

Hey great blog post thanks, I had no idea about sleep cycles and energy levels….I have been looking for resources on sleeping problems for ages as I suffer quite badly from a lack of sleep and I am unsure whether it is insomnia or something more physical like the bed itself. So thanks.

Cool post AJ …My friend had this app that counts your 90 mins sleep cycles, and she was so excited about using it,s he could hardly sleep lol! But I agree with you about waking up at the same time every day, I set my alarm for 6:45am 7 days a week. Sadly, it’s mostly my 1 year old daughter who does that job these days!

Anytime Raul- Knowledge is power =)

Meenu, when you have a chance email me the name of the app!

i found a wonderful way to wake up: Zen Alarm Clock. It’s an iPhone app that has a whole bunch of really pleasant sounds to wake you gently in the morning. Very nice indeed.

  8. AJ Mihrzad says:

Cool, I'm going to see if they have the app for my droid

Thank you AJ for such valid information….I don't even need an alarm clock most of the time when  my sleep cycles are in order, but when I am out of whack..I am much more tired during the day…Thanks for researching this out…now I can pick the ultimate time to work out and see faster results!!!  Your website has been an awesome learning experience and each week I learn new tactics to better my life.  Thank you again AJ and keep this valued information going..Your website looks amazing!!!

I recently read about another alternate sleeping strategy, polyphasic sleep, the practice of sleeping multiple short intervals throughout the day (with the goal of increasing the number of hours one is awake). Polyphasic sleep usually requires one to maintain a fairly set schedule of sleeping and waking up.

  13. AJ Mihrzad says:

Yes Saul I have looked into polyphasic sleep and its an interesting strategy.  It takes up a lot of time and effort and is really impossible to do if you work a full time job.  Thanks for posting pal.
