LONG ISLAND FITNESS GIVES YOU A BOOST
Many of us are losing the battle to control our ever expanding waistlines.
We’ve purchased our gym memberships and quit. We’ve bought a treadmill and watched it turn into an extra closet. It’s disheartening when our society defines a lean body as the beautiful body we should all obtain. While we are not all meant to be Barbies, there are numerous studies that show the impact weight has on our health. Everyone is capable of reaching a personal best. This might not be a size 6, but without trying you will never know. With Long Island Fitness, results are measurable. Your excitement will grow as Long Island Fitness cheers you on to your appropriate weight loss goals.
Diet is an essential part of a weight loss program, but no real diet plan will guarantee results without including exercise as part of your plan.
Personal training may seem like a non-essential cost when you could just get on a treadmill, but the reasons behind having a personal trainer are proven by many studies and more so by results. For one, when you begin a fitness program, Long Island Fitness can give you a comprehensive and accurate fitness evaluation and it will also provide advice about your level of caloric intake. The evaluation includes creating a weight chart, finding your BMI (body mass index), helping you find the appropriate number of sets with strength conditioning, and recommending cardio exercise that will yield the results you’re looking for.
Additionaly, Long Island Fitness can help make sure you’re utilizing fitness equipment in a proper way, which lessens the possibility of injury (which may make reaching your goals take longer).
Many have discovered the hard way that staying motivated can be challenging to sustain within a fitness plan. With the TV in front of us, we stare at the treadmill, which stares back, and even though it’s right there, we can’t bring ourselves to get on it and go. When we commit to taking a walk, it rains or our workout buddy whimps out. Occasionally actual life reasons conflict with the ability or desire to exercise (injury, for example), but this still has a consequence on the ultimate results. Long Island Fitness can give you the support necessary for accountability. It provides a stable relationship in which your trainer expects to see your results. For many, it is that accountability thats needed to truely make a genuine exercise comittment. It’s never a bad thing either to have a cheerleader ranting about how great it is that you lost 2 or 3 pounds (especially when no one else may have noticed yet!)
Personal training can also help you create and customize a plan of action. Some just jump on a treadmill without a knowledge base about resistance or understanding of how to maximize calorie burn. And we do want to maximize our efforts for the most rapid results, right?
After the first evaluation, you won’t remain at the same performance level forever. Long Island Fitness will assist you with regular evaluations on your progress using BMI updates, new measurements, as well as observation on your level of performance difficulty. In order to keep achieving results with certain weights or repetitions, you need to continue gradually adding more to your workout. Your personal trainer well help walk you through the process. One-on-one training can also help you discover new interests to help keep away boredom, such as team sports, racquetball, and competitions.
It’s important to find out the cost and what’s included with training costs. Remember to ask about the length/frequency of the sessions, gym membership fees, and other pertinent costs or requirements. Ask if there are personal training package deals. Fitness has no pricetag, but price does play a role.
Choosing to start working out now will give you a social network, a higher quality of life, and countless health benefits. You should not consider your exercise routine as something you “have to do.” Instead, consider it a new way of life with new friends and better health. People from all walks of life have given testimonials that demonstrate exercising can better your life in many, many ways. Begin right now and watch yourself turn into the next person who said, “I never thought I could.”
