Believe it or not, I was a heavy child growing up. It was a combination of my bad eating habits and my love for TV that resulted in bad health and low self-esteem. They Laughed when I told them I would get a Ripped 6 Pack by just Walking, that’s until I took my shirt off…
Don't mind the cheesy title, it's true.
I wrote an article about it that got published in "Real" magazine. For many of you that think walking cardio is a waste I actually went down to 6% bodyfat with walking cardio alone!
I was limited with a torn meniscus on my right knee, along with 2 herniated discs that gave me excruciating back pain.
My physician told me that could only do light walking for my exercise, so I was hell bent on getting ripped with just walking alone.
This is the conditioning that I achieved with walking alone.
This picture goes out to the non believers who think walking alone will do nothing. I'm not a big fan of running or other types of high intensity cardio, in fact I hate it with a desire.
On the other hand I could walk for miles and miles. A simple brisk walk outside or 3 miles an hour on a treadmill is all I do.

My Super Easy challenge for You to lose 5lbs in the next 7 days
I have to admit that I slacked off on my nutrition lately and had to go back to my old tactics to lose a few excess pounds.
What has really helped me get back on track is keeping a food journal.
There's a rule that applies to any aspect of life
"You can't Manage what you don't Measure"
Here is my challenge for YOU…
For the next 7 days keep track of EVERYTHING that you put into your mouth 
There's actually a diet called the "Flash Diet" where you take a picture of every meal that you eat. It has proven to decrease your overall calorie intake by making you aware of what you consume throughout the day.
Of course taking a picture of every meal has its limits, I prefer the ole pen and paper method and recommend that you use my own personal food journal template for the next week.
Simply download my food journal and print 7 copies for yourself. One page for each day of the week.
Then write down all of the food that you eat and drink from the moment you wake up until you go to sleep.
Keeping track of your eating will REALLY make a HUGE difference.
I know it sounds simple, but it's super effective!
A key factor in my client's transformation is keeping track of their calories throughout the day.
All it takes is a few minutes at the end of the day and it will make a tremendous difference in helping you lose fat.
Remember where your attention goes the progress shows.

Craving Killer # 2 - Drink a large glass of water mixed with Benefiber:
( Search "benefiber" on the top right of this blog to see why I use it! )
The minute you being to start feeling hungry, down a glass of water mxed with benefiber.
Filling your stomach with a large glass of water + benefiber will immediately calm your hunger urges and bring your appetite back in to control.
The more of this cocktail that you drink, the fuller you'll feel, and the easier controlling your appetite will be.
Craving Killer # 3 - Chew sugar free gum:
Do you Feel hungry between meals?
Reach for a piece of sugar-free gum. The simple act of chewing and keeping your mouth occupied will have an immediate effect on your level of hungry and quickly have you forgetting about being hungry.
Mint flavored gum works the best for me!
Craving Killer # 4 – Brush your Teeth:
Another interesting way to overcome a craving is to create an undesirable "craving" situation in your mouth, which can be easily done by brushing your teeth when your cravings get out of hand.
Not only does the taste of toothpaste occupy your taste buds instead of the craving, but it's also unlikely that with a minty fresh mouth you'll still be reaching for any type of high calorie foods…

How Mike lost 52 lbs of Fat for a Tryout with the New York Jets – Transformation of the Month
Hey
I had to share Mike's incredible transformation with you. Read how a tryout with the New York Jets altered his destiny, in his own words he shares his story…
I have always been an athlete and maintained good shape most of my life. I played football in college and always had a dream of playing for the New York Jets.
After college football I started working full-time, and got busy with hectic work weeks and the daily stresses of life.
I wasn’t as active as when I had daily football practices and I also started some unhealthy eating habits. I gained over 30lbs of fat and hit an all-time high of 265 lbs.
The weight just crept up on me over the years. Being less active I felt more sluggish and tired most of the time.
I felt like my body was deteriorating and I lost the strength, agility and speed that I had built playing sports most of my life.
I knew I was going down the wrong path and that if I kept gaining weight I would be the extreme opposite of the athlete I always strived to be.
This was not the life for me, my body felt much older and I was only in my 20’s.
Then one day out of the blue one of my old punting coaches called me up and said that the New York Jets are searching for a punter and that he got me an “invite only” tryout for the team.
Being offered a tryout for the New York Jets was like a dream come true.
The only problem was that I hadn’t punted a football in ages and that I was 30lbs heavier than my college football weight.
I had a short time to get into the best shape of my life and get my body and mind ready for the tryout of my life!
That's when I knew I could not waste any time and had to find the best fitness expert to get me into pro football shape…
When I first heard about AJ I was kinda skeptical, he was referred to me by my friend Arthur.
