April 11th, 2010Ultra Healthy Food list
January 24th, 2010
I want to share a list of ultra healthy foods that I incorporate into my daily diet.
Many of these choices are zero and low calorie foods and beverages that will greatly reduce your overall caloric intake thus helping you lose more fat.
1 pound of fat is 3500 calories and by simply reducing 500 calories a day we can lose an entire pound of fat per week!
One hour of moderate exercise burns approximately 500-700 calories. By substituting these ultra healthy choices in your daily nutrition, you can burn off hundreds of additional calories per day.
Be sure to add some of these ultra healthy choices to your shopping list. I also provided websites for ordering products online along with recipes to make your life easier.
If you happen to have your own low calorie choices be sure to send me an email and let me know. The more options we have the easier this gets.

What defines Success?
October 5th, 2009
As you are reading this, you are probably the type of person that aims to better themselves. As focused individuals, we are always focused on a future goal, or an event in life. We must understand that we already obtain what we think we need.
The fact that you are taking the time to read these words shows that you are successful. We may think that by being wealthly, being in a loving relationship or having specific material objects will grant us the status of success. I have news for you; reaching those remarkable accomplishments will make you no more content than you currently are.
Believe me its human nature to always want what you can’t have, the thought of being wealthy, famous or in a deep state of love actually brings more happiness than the actual life event.
Think about a positive dream you’ve had recently, remember how you’ve felt when you thought back about it. How glamorous it was, it was based on a subconscious thought that you perceive will bring about happiness in your life. Eventually having that dream as a reality your conscious mind will soon dissolve its fantasy like element, for instance you will get used to it and focus on the next dream…
The point is to try and understand that success is an internal feeling. There is no actual event or thing in reality that will brand you with success. It is a feeling within you… We all have our own opinions of “success” , it is purely subjective.
For example who has accomplished more, a homeless man getting off the streets supporting himself with a minimum wage job while and quitting a heroin addiction, or a wealthy businessman accumulating a million in sales to his added 20 million net worth? You can have your opinion on who and which is more “successful” according to your ideals, however, both share a common experience a state progression in their lives.
“A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step”
Success is basically taking positive steps towards the progression of your goal. Life is lived in the present moment. Your life is unfolding as you read these words. Have you been improving in your life as of late? We all have goals or objectives that we want to accomplish, however few of us take the steps towards working towards those steps.
Amazingly the smallest action towards our goal will miraculously open new doors towards its attainment. Many believe the universe works in a magical way. “What you put out into the universe, the universe will give back” With this theory, being mindful of your goals along with taking small steps in the right direction shall bring you closer towards the destiny you desire.

Progress or Die
September 11th, 2009
Powerful statement huh?
It came to me when I was recently asked what would happen if I were to wake up in the morning and not be motivated, shit Id be better of dead! I highly believe that we all have a purpose in our life and it is our obligation to find out what it is and do it to the best of our ability!
Back in the Stone Age our ancestors were hunters and gathers and in their life their role was to simply survive and replicate. Men hunted for food, women gathered grains and raised children. We were simply lucky if we passed our DNA to the next generation and did not starve to death and survived the dangerous world… Fast forward to the current day, we are in the information age.
There has not been a greater time to be born, especially with the advances in technology and the advent of massive databases of knowledge at our finger tips. There is no greater time to do, have or be anything we truly desire. We can do our own research and study or hire the services of an expert to assist us in anything we please.
At times we take this fact for granted and don’t live up to our potential. I believe we must work on being the best we can be in every aspect of life as well as to give back what we have learned or earned back to society. Think about what shaped the lives of Warren Buffett and Oprah Winfery. Those two heroes are no different than you and I.
I firmly believe that each of us was born with a specific strength and we need to exploit it to the fullest extent. Not just to make our lives a living dream but to enhance the lives of others. I chose to study the path of fitness, psychology and personal development. I personally believe our health and happiness is the most important aspects of our lives.
I decided that I want to help others achieve their ultimate health and that their minds are at an optimal level. I get pure joy out of helping people get into the best shape of their lives, along with the new found confidence, energy and outlook they obtain. It is as if they are starting a new life as well as creating profound changes in the lives of others.
I am blessed to have found my calling at an early age and also to have the motivation to learn and research as much as I can about my chosen field. I have literally spend hundreds of hours reading and researching in the areas of physical and mental fitness, nutrition and self development, and I truly LOVE every second of it!
I see my studies as a glass of water, the more I learn the glass gets full. In order for me to keep pouring water in my glass I have to pour some in someone else’s glass. So in order for me to grow I have to help someone else with my knowledge and make their lives better. A Win/Win situation
The bottom line is to take an assessment on yourself. Is what you are doing NOW giving you fulfillment and capitalizing on your purpose in life?
Hey theres nothing wrong with what you do as long as your career gives you a feeling of purpose. Engage in your vocation to the best of your ability, and in your spare time give something of yourself to others…
If my writing has resonated something within you then it is your time to make the most of your strength. Keep learning and doing if you are on your true life path. Perhaps you are reading this at it is not your time right now. Hey some people realize their purpose later in life when they are ready to take action. All I say is to start thinking about it before it’s too late; we only get one shot at this thing. My friend, don’t waste your incredible mind…

We have all heard that carbohydrates are evil; some of us have even discriminated against carbohydrates and eliminated them out of their diet completely. A question that I get asked often is: “What are good carbs?”
Scientists have developed a way to measure how quickly a carbohydrate is absorbed into the blood steam. It is called the glycemic index, which scale from 0-100.
The lower the carbohydrate is on the index the slower it digests and the better it is for you. Carbs that are high on the index absorb faster and have a higher change to lead to fat gain and other health problems. For example, glucose is 100 on the glycemic index.
I have attached a list of low glycemic index carbohydrates. If you consume the carbohydrates on the list you will improve your health and enhance your fitness goals. Make sure you have them in your diet…
A low glycemic food plan is beneficial for:
· helping balance blood glucose and insulin levels
· reducing excess body fat levels
· increasing sports performance
· reducing hunger and keep you full for longer periods of time

Help me, Help you…
August 25th, 2009
What gets you motivated? When you wake up first thing in the morning, what gets you out of bed and gets your mind going and gives you passion? Think about the thoughts that fuel you and move you towards starting your day. Can you honestly say that you love what you do- does your “work” feel effortless and do you feel your at your optimal productivity when your there?
A few years ago I had a “JOB” (just over broke), it was a great state job along with wonderful benefits, however I felt like I was stuck in traffic. I had to abide by a schedule of exhausting hours, slow and specific salary steps, along with the fear that at anytime my “job” was at risk and I would have to start from scratch. Like a car stuck in traffic I had minimal control over my career situation at the time.
As far as I could remember, I HATED working for people. How many times have you had a boss or manager that was less intelligent than you and you could do their job with ease? Or did you have a more efficient way of doing your job, but still had to “follow procedure” and do it the way your supervisor wants it done? After getting frustrated with being an employee, I said to myself enough is enough! I took a leap of faith and resigned from my comfortable job and got out of the rat race.
I started my own business doing what I love and what I was born to do, and it was the best thing I ever did. Since then I have progressed light years ahead in my life. I am my own boss, I make my own hours, the harder I work the more wealth I create, and there are noooo limits to my progress and growth. I also don’t have some idiot breathing down my neck telling me what to do. Nor do I have to report to a demanding schedule like a mind controlled zombie. Since I am independent I have only myself to blame if I am a success or failure. This was an eye opening experience and very motivating for me to say the least.
“If you work hard on your job you make a living, if you work hard on yourself you make a fortune”- Jim Rohn
That is one of my favorite quotes of all time because it’s so true. As a society there is a great emphasis on formal education, however I don’t think it’s as important as we deem it be. I always understood the value of school and went as far to get my masters degree, nevertheless I realized that I learned the most vital things in life through self education and experience. Formal education does not teach us how to be happy, successful, healthy and wealthy. I can honestly say that I learned a great deal through formal education, but the plethora of knowledge that I obtained from my own personal research overshadows the 22 years of formal education that I experienced.
I realized that to live the life I of my dreams I am responsible towards to creating it myself; nobody is going to walk into my life and hand it to me. It all starts with a thought, then you take action to bring in to your reality. Step by step I am climbing the mountain of my true destiny.
Am I living my dream life right now? No, perhaps it will never be to my exact vision. This is a life long journey that I will enjoy accomplishing and learning every moment that I breathe. We all have strengths and weaknesses, I simply capitalized on my strengths and I’m working voraciously hard on my weaknesses.
One of my strong points is creating a goal or aspiration and then immediately creating the outline in my mind on how to make it a reality. Any objective I ever had, I have accomplished it by quickly creating a logical map of how to reach my destination and taking massive action in bringing into fruition. I have a gift of seeking the proper information, people, places and situations towards getting what I desire in a proficient way. As soon as I have goal I get energized and become an architect that’s puts together a blueprint towards its accomplishment.
Do I have all my goals accomplished? Not all, but most of them are my current living reality. I realized that some of them take a life time to accomplish. Everyday I have faith in my self that I am one step closer to fulfilling my ultimate potential. I have realized that it’s a simple analogy of having the right recipe. Anything you desire in life requires taking the right steps and using the right ingredients towards cooking the perfect meal that will satisfy your appetite. Not to sound like a cliché, you can have or do anything you desire if you’re willing to take the simple action steps towards its accomplishment.
So my friends, if you have read the first paragraph of this long rant and you answered yes to all of the questions then I am really happy for you. You are living at your true potential, keep it up. As adults our careers are a major aspect of our lives and I believe it directly correlates to our level pleasure and purpose in life. However our work path is not everything, there are many other areas that we need to improve.
I want to use my abilities towards helping you achieve your desire. I am knowledgeable in many areas being that I study and research just about every aspect of life; if you have specific goals just tell me what it is. If I can’t help you then I will put you in the right direction towards its accomplishment.
So any question regarding psychology, health, fitness, nutrition, business, personal finance, investing, dating, relationships, etc.. ANYTHING you have a question on just ask me, it’s my pleasure to HELP YOU in anyway I can. Just email me at below and give me some time to get back to you. Due to my hectic schedule along with the other obligations, calls/emails I answer daily it may take sometime to get back to you. However, I will do my absolute best to get back to you the best way I can! I am here to ADD VALUE to your LIFE and I want to see you succeed in any endeavor that you pursue.
For the skeptics out there, I am here to facilitate my strengths towards making your life better. I am a humble success addict that loves to see others living with bliss…I will not spam you use your email for evil purposes.
So right now at this present moment, think of one thing that is not going right in your life and ask me how I could assist YOU and make it better?
Email me the area of improvement and specific question you need help in.
Also if you happen to be a “1 percenter” aka a person that works hard on themselves and is taking massive action to accomplish their goals in life, please share with me your success stories I would love to hear and get inspired by you. I may pick your brain on the area of your expertise to learn something from you, I hope you don’t mind. I love to learn, especially from the lives of others.
If you got this far in reading this looong essay I applaud you, it shows that you are serious about achievement. I look forward to connecting with you and the positive impact it will have on both of our lives.

Take a step towards fitness
July 30th, 2009
Optimal health is ideal towards achieving your goals… Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being. Contrary to popular belief, optimal health is not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Health is your true being- to live at your optimal capability. You deserve to be disease free, vibrant, and full of energy. No matter how “skinny” healthy you feel; proper exercise is an important factor in achieving a healthy lifestyle. It’s easy to start a simple program and slowly add more activity to make it advanced.
The first step is to start with cardiovascular exercise, which doesn’t require any equipment. Take a simple stroll outside. Start by walking five minutes in the morning and five minutes in the evening. The next day, add a few minutes to each walking session. With every session, be sure to increase the speed. Soon, you could be walking briskly for 30 minutes a day — and reaping all the benefits of regular aerobic exercise. Something as simple as a brisk walk will do wonders for your mind and body. It is an easy step towards improving your fitness, while at the same time reducing stress and improving your mood.
